TalkTalk customers have been sent an email to pre-warn them about an ongoing scam.
It has emerged that TalkTalk’s data servers have been hacked and data has been stolen including customer’s details.
The scam is a typical telephone scam with fraudsters claiming to be calling from TalkTalk and quoting details and account information in order to convince victims to part with bank details.
Our advice if you receive a phone call with regards to your internet or computer from any company, is to simply hang up and not engage in any conversation.
