The Superfish app was pre-installed on some of Lenovo’s laptop computers.
The app supposedly offered shopping tips but has since been categorized as adware, with multiple security flaws.
If you have the Superfish program installed on your computer, it is recommended that you remove this.
Lenovo have released a patch to assist you on the removal of this program. This download can be found on this link. Once on the Lenovo support page, download / run the 1st “Automatic Removal Tool” on the list. It will scan your system – if Superfish is present it will remove it for you. Nice and easy!
