Windows 7 will soon end it’s retail and OEM shelf-life.

Up until now we have been able to offer a choice of operating system for new build desktops. Either Windows 7 or Windows 8. However from the end of October 2014 this will no longer be an option as Microsoft have called time on sales of the operating system.
After this date once stock has gone it’s gone.
Not many, but a few of our customers have opted for Windows 7 instead of the current OS, Windows 8. Reasons ranging from compatibility with old hardware or simply familiarity with the look and feel of the older system.
Do not be alarmed if you have a computer running Windows 7. This post is not to announce that Windows 7 will become unsupported. Only sales of the operating system will end.
The support for previous systems is still available in terms of security patches and bug fixes.
Here is a list of the sales-cycle for Microsoft operating systems. By clicking on the picture you will be able to check the support life-cycles of the various systems to ensure you are still up to date.
