It’s Taxi Day

For the 73rd year the Glasgow Taxis will coming to Troon.
No matter what the weather throws at us, it’s time to get out there wherever you can to line the streets and welcome the kids, drivers & volunteers into town on the annual outing.
The drivers and volunteers have given their time and effort since 1945 to bring the kids down for a day out. The effort that goes into the preparation and fund raising is outstanding.
Taxis arrive in Troon at 1pm.
For the last couple of years I have streamed this live on the internet, however, although Computroon is still trading, I closed the shop premises in the town centre last September, therefore the parade won’t be live on our Facebook page or Youtube channel this year.
Will try and sort something out for next year.
