If the speed of your laptop is holding you back, there is one upgrade that will really unleash the power of your computer.
In the old days of XP & Vista, the answer was usually just “add more RAM”. Now that SSD (Solid State Drive) prices have finally dropped, upgrading your laptop hard drive makes too much sense.
On this blog post I’m not going to go into the technical and practical pro’s & cons of switching to a SDD. Instead I’ll explain what is involved and how much it will cost for us to carry out this upgrade for you.
For more tech spec if you are not already familiar with SSD’s simply search “SSD vs HDD”. There are thousands of articles already written on the subject.

A quick break down of prices / storage space. The 120GB drive is priced at £49. Meaning we carry out this job for as little as £30.
Storage space: A 120GB drive will show up in Windows as 111GB. Once Windows is loaded with updates and essential programs, this usually leaves around 90GB on space. Doesn’t appear to be much in today’s terms but to put this into perspective, that’s space for 64,000 photos or 18,000 MP3’s!
So what are you waiting for? Apart from your laptop taking an age to boot up.
