Help, Support & Tutorials
A small glitch with Windows 10 that we are starting to see in the repair shop is that the DVD drive on computers seems to disappear.
I am not yet sure of the cause of this but there is a quick fix.
- Click Start (the flag) and type Troubleshooting.
- Select Troubleshooting from the list that appears in the Start Menu and look for Hardware & Sound, then Configure A Device.
- Follow the steps to let the troubleshooter run it’s fixit.
- On completion restart your computer. (important).
This issue has become more common since the big November Update. The next big update will most probably have this error patched.
