Site Maintenance.
Web sites need to be updated on a regular basis depending on the
type of service or information that they provide.
Different types of business require different types of web sites.
High maintenance sites such as estate agents require constant updates
in order to keep visitors coming back. Some sites require low or
even no maintenance once they have been published. A web site for
a plumber for example, would simply serve the purpose of advertising
services and contact information and may require little or no updates.
Clients that require weekly or monthly updates will be charged a
small fee depending on the amount of work required to be carried
out. This can be discussed and agreed with your original quote.
DIY Updates. Another example of keeping a site fresh with new content
to encourage repeat visits would be to add a message forum, guestbook
or even a photo gallery. These can be managed by you. Once configured,
adding pictures or editing comments to your site is very easy.
NB. Updating your site on a fairly regular basis means obtaining
higher search engine results.
