At Computroon we offer a wide range of computer services and have a workshop in the back of the shop where we carry out all types of computer repair work.

» Web Site Design Service.

» PC / Laptop Setup.
When buying a new PC or Laptop from Computroon, as part of our service we will set up the computer by activating Windows and setting up your system drivers and anti-virus configuaration. Other "major computer retailers" simply hand you the box and let you setup the system your-self. However if you are not familiar with configuring a new PC or laptop then this often leads to problems such as your machine quickly becoming unstable and malfunctioning. All desktop PC systems and laptops bought from Computroon will be setup and configured for you.

» General Repairs.
Whether you require a PC health check and service or a complete overhaul of your system, at Computroon we carry out all types of repair and service work on your computers and laptops.

» PC Reformat.
A reformat will clean your hard drive of all data and with a fresh installation of Windows your computer will run like new again. Please note, you are responsable for backing up your own data unless you request a data back up with your reformat.

» Virus / Spyware Removal.
If you become infected with malicious spyware or viruses, we have professional hardware equipment and applications to detect and remove these threats. Although backing up essential data and reformatting is recommended.

» Internet / Network Setup.
Broadband or internet connection problems? We have the answers. Our technician can visit your home or workplace to resolve your problems.

» Data Backup.
If you are lucky enough to have never suffered a system error resulting in the loss of all data on your system, then the question unfortunately is not "if" but "when" its going to happen. For data back-up advice and solutions ask in Computroon for suggestions. We also recommend that you back up your data on a regular basis and stock some very cost efficient data mass storage products.

» Add New Hard Drive.
The cost of fitting a new hard drive or slave drive varies, depending on the price of the new drive and also whether you require a new install of Windows and data backed up or transfered. Call us for details.

» Adding Memory.
Adding memory to your PC or laptop can significantly speed up and improve your computers performance. Ask in the shop for the current price of memory.

» Install New Operating System.
If you would like to reinstall Windows™ or upgrade to a new version of Vista, ask in the shop for the latest prices.

» Install New PC Card.
Installing new PC cards can be risky if you are not familiar with the internal workings of a computer. Due to the build up of static elecricity inside your computer, attempting to install new video, network, sound cards etc could cause fatal damage to your motherboard. At Computroon we can fit new PC cards safely for a very small fee.
