Memory Upgrade

Is your computer running very slow?
Adding more memory can vastly improve the speed and performance of your computer. At Computroon we install the memory for you while you wait.

We do not charge for the installation of laptop or system memory. Installation is free.

Simply bring in your desktop PC, or laptop computer with the mains charger and we can check to see what memory your computer has, and how much more it will be capable of taking.

There are 3 main types of memory for notebook computers. DDR, DDR2 & DDR3. The three different types have different connection slots.

DDR - Most older models of laptops use this type. This older type of memory works out slightly more expensive than the newer DDR2.
DDR2 - The most common type of laptop memory in most relatively new machines.
DDR3 - High speed RAM. If you have DDR3, the chance is that your computer doesnt need a memory upgrade.

Please note, that if you purchase memory to install yourself and the memory is damaged during installation, this can void the warranty. This is the reason that at Computroon we fit the memory for you. Just bring in your laptop or desktop computer and we will install the memory under static controlled conditions in our workshop while you wait. Installation and testing only takes a few minutes.
